Newton Laws of motion models the relationship between a physical body, forces and motion. They lay the foundation for classical mechanics allowing mankind to send rockets to the moon. Likewise an IT Architect models the business process, IT resources and different roles in an organization in a cohesive manner. By connecting business processes with IT solutions and organizational responsibilities in a model a clear view surfaces how the pieces fit together to achieve the goal.
As experienced IT-architect I am able to deliver a rational explanation which technologies serves the use case and how it should be implemented. Using the TOGAF framework as a starting point, I share my analysis with stakeholders to create a shared understanding how to deliver the right solution.
